It’s Time for the Final Round!

They came, they spoke and they were applauded! The 28 3MT semi-finalists took to the stage of the Graduate Student Centre Ballroom yesterday afternoon and treated all in attendance to a fascinating afternoon of presentations. In just three minutes each graduate student participant took us deep into the heart of their thesis research – leaving us amazed at the breadth and depth of research taking place at UBC and a little bit in awe of those that are tackling some of the most critical historical, social and scientific questions of our time.

The final round kicks off Celebrate Research Week Friday March 2, at 12 Noon in the Graduate Student Centre Ballroom, 6371 Crescent Road.
